You don’t need to be getting married to have beautiful photos documenting your love in the great outdoors.
We can do anything from a short session on the lake to multiday hiking / canoeing / helicopter adventures, just to name a few.
**Adventure Sessions aren’t meant for ceremonies or vows — your wedding day deserves to be held with more space, presence, and care. During high season (June–September), Adventure Sessions can be booked up to eight weeks in advance only.

Banff Elopement Package FAQs
How much does a Banff elopement cost?
Photography and planning with me starts at CA$4,200 for an elopement, and CA$1,650 for an adventure session. Beyond that you’ll budget for your Alberta marriage licence (a $40 government fee plus the registry agent’s service charge), Parks Canada passes for everyone attending, an officiant, and somewhere to stay. A helicopter is the biggest single variable if you want one.
What’s included in an all-inclusive elopement package?
Everything above, plus the part most photographers don’t do: location scouting matched to your fitness and season, a day-of timeline built around the light, guidance on permits and the marriage licence, vendor introductions, and a weather plan. Travel anywhere in the Canadian Rockies is included — there are no separate travel fees.
How many guests can you have at a Banff elopement?
Parks Canada caps ceremonies in Banff National Park at 20 participants, and that includes the two of you, your officiant and me. Smaller is easier — some of the best locations simply don’t work with a large group, and the quieter spots stay quiet.
Do you need a permit to elope in Banff?
There’s no paid permit, but you do need to register your ceremony with Parks Canada, and everyone attending needs a valid park pass. Can we elope by helicopter?
Yes, and it’s one of the most memorable ways to do it — alpine meadows and ridgelines you couldn’t hike to in a day. It’s weather-dependent and needs booking well ahead. Here’s how a Banff helicopter elopement actually works.
